This Movie Sucks is a tongue in cheek look at real life. Tackling everything from toxic internet culture, and US economics, to heavy topics like grief and loss, all with a wink and a smile.
It asks what happens after the movie credits roll, after the band moves out of the garage, after the lifelong dream is achieved... and finds that after "happily ever after" just comes real life.
The sound is wildly diverse, taking Durry’s established sound and stretching it further than ever before. With strong punk rock sensibilities in songs like 'Bully' and 'Start a Band' alongside the folksy sounds of 'The Long Goodbye' and 'Slug Bug'.
